Hello, I am moving apartments in August (trying to do the least expensive moving options and I'll be moving what I can with the help that I have but there are some pieces of furniture I have which are too heavy to move without professional help), I have several meds I need to refill, and I also need help with groceries. I anticipate needing $950 in assistance for this month. I am extremely appreciative of everything I receive, thank you so much! ❤️

Just applied to the apartment I'm set on w/ my probable new roommate and had to pay this huge fee ($258) 😩I still haven't made any progress on this and the moving expenses are just piling up, please keep reblogging!

$143/1208 and 7 days left. This has made virtually no progress in days and is becoming an EXTREMELY stressful situation. Emphasizing that I have a very, very long way to go and that this is urgent! PLEASE, please keep reblogging!

sometimes when I'm bored, I go through the list of recent bad faith Wikipedia edits that have since been reverted. a lot of them are politically contentious/offensive topics that attract crazies and trolls in general, but sometimes there are completely innocent inoffensive articles that people attack for no reason. some guy yesterday vandalized the article on the chemical element francium

[ID: a portion of a Wikipedia article. It reads:

" ""Francium"" is a stupid element." It cuts off after that. "Stupid element" is highlighted.

end ID.]

Sometimes I start to get really really down on myself about not having conquered all of my fears and flaws and then I have to remind myself that I’m not even 30 yet and I need to calm down. I’ve still barely been alive for long. I’ve made a lot of good progress, and I have so much more time left for growth. It’s absurd to expect that I fix everything about myself when I’m still this young.

Image Description: A photograph of a black and white ad, reading, "Johnson Country Hams located 4 miles from Florence Mall, Union, KY, 384-1114. Enjoy our specialty at the Boone County Fair, Country Ham Sandwiches." The image is of a pig facing away from the viewer with its head turned back around to smile at the viewer with humanlike lips, heavily lidded eyes with long eyelashes, and raised eyebrows. The pig's ass is delicately rendered with dot shading, and is very round, as well as being the focus of the image. End ID.

There's a lot of dumb ass animal cruelty takes in general but my favorite is the people who think you need to force sled dogs to pull.

Have you ever walked a dog before in your entire life? They love to pull. They're the pullingest damn things you ever saw. They'll merrily rip your rotator cuff in half like a phone book for the chance to stick their own face into a pile of old feces. They'll drag you down the road while you go through all 5 stages of grief trying to make them stop.

There are hundreds of products on the market promising to get ordinary non sled dogs to stop pulling their hapless owners down the road and spilling their iced coffees. People have gone so far as to use electric collars to try and zap sense into their poor stupid labradoodle that wants nothing more but to suicidally pull itself and everyone it loves into the snarling maw of the nearest leash reactive pit bull.

A dog that's allowed to pull, nay, encouraged to pull, is probably the most self actualized animal on the planet right after seagulls that live somewhere with food stands outdoors.

i don’t know where the notion that if you don’t give big bucks to an artist then you’re not really supporting them came from, but when people say even a tiny bit of monetary support saves an artist, it’s not for the aesthetic or the gesture of it all. i’ve been able to have actual drinking water on days i’ve been incredibly broke simply because someone bought a brush pack for 2 euros. in the most actual, literal way i could possibly convey this: the SMALLEST amount counts. in practice counts. people-get-to-eat-today counts. especially in this age of everyone and their mother being out to deplatform artists. there’s value in the tiniest of ways

#don’t get me started on how sharing people’s works helps bring in the money down the line even if all you did was reblog something#a little bit goes a long way#that is all

Ice Queendom takeover would be so funny RWDE of course then we'd have to hear all the totally not racist mainline fans complaining about the Japanese ruining their show
